Japanese- Capsicum annuum Sow spring This is a prolific bearing variety with large sweet squarish fruit. Sow into rich soil and keep moist. Large leaves protect this fruit from sunburn. Fruit will become smaller if nutrients are inadequate. May benefit from a filtered shade in summer. Fruit can be picked when full size, either green or later when red.

These seeds are grown in chemical-free food gardens and rarely found on supermarket shelves. They are all open pollinated.
